Reed Flute Cave & Reed Flute Lake
Guilin's Reed Flute Cave is a 240-million-year-old cavern filled with spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and rock formations illuminated by colored lights, earning it the nickname "Palace of Natural Arts." Above ground, the city's four lakes — Shan, Rong, Gui, and Mulong — are linked by ancient waterways dating to the Tang Dynasty, best explored by evening lantern boat.
